Parliamentary talk with All-Party motoring and cycling groups
I’ll be giving a history talk in committee room 8 in the House of Commons on 19th November. The talk is invite-only and I have a tiny number of invites. Contact me if you’d be interested in attending. You’d need to be at parliament quite some time before kick-off – it takes a while to get through security. The talk is the first joint event staged by the All-Party Motoring Group and the All Party Parliamentary Cycling Group. (Mental note – I must ask if there are any MPs and peers who are members of both groups.)
On the book front I’m slowly working through the formatting for the online-only notes. I’m up to chapter four. Once that’s complete I’ll switch to second-edition mode. The next print edition of the book will be a revised one, and available early in 2015. The multimedia iPad version of the book has already been updated and is due to be updated again – it will always have the most up-to-date info. It’s not as easy to nudge Amazon into notifying Kindle-version buyers of updated books.
If you’ve now read the book, please consider leaving a rating or a review on Amazon, iTunes or Goodreads.com.
