Tax wretched bicycles? Tax prams, too
This cartoon about cycling conditions in England published in 1900 in the American cycling magazine ‘Wheeling’ shows that the demand that bicycles should be registered and taxed has a long history. In fact, the demand is almost as old as cycling itself.
